With the NV300, Nissan presents the Primastar’s successor at the IAA. The new van lines itself up between the NV200 and NV400 in the 2.8-ton class.

Nissan offers the new NV300 as box van, as double cabin, as well as station wagon for passenger transportation. Furthermore, its chassis provides the basis for multiple customer-specific superstructures. The new van is structurally identical with the Renaul Trafic, Opel Vivaro and Fiat Talento. Contrary to the other manufacturers, Nissan offers a five-year- or 160,000 kilometer guarantee, which also applies to all original Nissan accessory parts. The NV300 is produced in Renault-Nissan’s allied factory in French Sandouville; the European market launch will follow in November.

Several versions and varied selection

The NV300 is available as a box van in two different roof heights and lengths. It’s also available as six-seater double-cabin in two lengths, as well as platform-chassis in a long version. Additional selection is possible for the rear doors and sliding doors on the side, with and without windows. The NV300 station wagon comes into play as passenger transport for up to 9 passengers, likewise available in two different lengths. Depending on the model, the loading volume amounts to between 5.2 and 8.6 cubic meters

Underneath the NV300’s hood, the modern 1.6-liter diesel has already proven its worth in the crossover models Qashqai and X-Trail, and is offered in the new commercial vehicle in four performance levels of 70 kW/95 hp over 88 kW/120 hp and 92 kW/125 hp up to 107 kW/145 hp. In the two strongest versions, the diesel is charged via Twin-Turbo, and combined with a start-stop system and an eco-modus switch including shift indicator. A six-speed transmission is always on board – as well as a particle filter and an exhaust gas cleaning system with SCR-technology to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.
