Telematics- and TMS-suppliers show solutions for transparent processes at the Transport Logistic.
The trend topic of this year‘s trade fair Transport Logistic, taking place May 9-12, is digitalized processes. Several telematics- and TMS-suppliers (transport management system) show how logistics benefit from such digitalized processes. Astrata (hall B2, exhibition stand 628) is introducing the newest version of its own app store. This digital vendor‘s tray for logistics-applications contains a continuously changing number of third-party applications for the Driverlinc tablet. The objective is to render the operating procedures transparent. The app store works similarly to Apple Store or Google Play. Furthermore, Astrata provides information about the opening of online portal Fleetvisor. The idea behind this is an open telematics platform, into which all supply chain data – including that of third-party suppliers – is entered. Krone‘s Trailer-Telematic, for example, has already been integrated.
