Battery packs can be specified according to customer requirements. Moreover, the e-motor has significantly increased its performance. The range with one load shall reach up to 100 kilometers.
From next year onwards the first generation of the fully electric driven Fuso eCanter will be on the market. Depending on the application and on customer requirements, the vehicle can be specified with 3 to 6 battery packs at 14 kilowatt hours to achieve the best possible compromise between capacity, costs and load capacity. The debut vehicle has a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 70 kilowatt hours to allow a range of about 100 kilometers.
Also new is the permanently synchronized electric motor. It generates an output of 185 kW and a maximum torque of 380 newton meters. The power is transferred to the rear axle via a single-speed transmission. The chassis without superstructure has 7.49 tons permissible weight and a carrying capacity of 4.63 tons.
