Why should customers definitely come to your stand?

We will once again be presenting a wide range of practical solutions that our customers can use to work economically in the face of the energy transition and digital transformation. For many years, for example, we have been focusing on the durability and lasting value of our vehicles through galvanisation and, since 2018, we have been equipping them with telematics as standard. This enables every trailer operator to bring transparency to the supply chain and take advantage of the benefits of digitalisation. Visitors should definitely come to us so that we can discuss the best solutions and develop new ideas together.

What are the most important innovations that your company will be presenting there?

Firstly, our new S.CU dc85 transport refrigeration unit. It requires up to five per cent less fuel and works extremely reliably even at high outside temperatures. In the chiller sector, we have another innovation that is particularly important to me.

The S.CU d80 transport refrigeration unit with an ePTO interface to an electric power take-off. It makes it possible to cool completely electrically in combination with an electric tractor unit, with the diesel engine as a backup, without any major additional investment. This is ‘Delivering Performance’, delivering power that pays for itself and saves CO2. It does not require regulation to establish itself on the market. And the standard TrailerConnect® telematics system provides cost transparency and the facts. We offer another solution for more flexibility and efficiency in temperature-controlled distribution transport with the short S.KO CITY semi-trailers. The all-electric S.KOe CITY is new, and the shortest version is just eleven metres long. It therefore offers outstanding manoeuvrability and is significantly more flexible than a motorised vehicle body.

For long-distance transport, the reduced k-value of less than 0.3 W/m²K in combination with the S.CU d80 offers significant cost savings. With around 2,000 operating hours of the refrigeration unit per year, this means a monthly cost saving of almost 100 euros compared to a k-value of 0.4.

The S.CS MEGA curtainsider semi-trailer for intermodal transport will also be presented. It offers more payload, high flexibility and yet the robustness required for a volume semi-trailer for use on road, rail and ferry. The S.CS X-TOUGH curtainsider with a standard floor capacity of 9.5 tonnes will also be on show in Germany for the first time. It was specially developed for countries with a total weight of 44 tonnes and impresses with its high bending and torsional strength.

As a technology leader for digital solutions, we also have some innovations ‘up our sleeve’ in terms of services. For example, the predictive maintenance of the transport refrigeration machine with Predictive Maintenance, which will be used in the future, or the real-time load information with load carrier tracking in conjunction with our TrailerConnect® telematics system.
