With its unique technology, e-Sys is an electric auxiliary drive system that illustrates our company's efforts to drive the energy transition in the transportation sector and focus on solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and benefit health and ecosystems. This solution involves an innovative and sustainable concept: using an intelligent algorithm, the engine works as a generator that recovers the kinetic energy and stores it in batteries to power the electric motor.The project is led by Suspensys, one of our companies that is a leader in innovation in Latin America and plays an important role worldwide in the development of technologies for the wheelset sector, which is becoming increasingly important in the field of electrification technologies.We are very proud of this work because it is groundbreaking - there is no comparable technology in the world - and because it has proven benefits for our customers' businesses and for the environment.
