The still young transport refrigeration specialist ECOOLTEC will be represented at the IAA TRANSPORTATION for the second time in 2024. CEO Henning Altebäumer and CTO Dr Jürgen Süß explain the unique selling point of their systems and reveal which developments ECOOLTEC will be showcasing this year.
Altebäumer and Süß: After appearing at the IAA in 2022 as a newcomer, ECOOLTEC has now made a name for itself in the industry as the only manufacturer of transport refrigeration machines with natural refrigerants. Many of our customers and partners have now recognised that sustainability is essential in transport refrigeration and that there is great potential for CO2 savings. It is clear that the use of F-gases and diesel-powered transport refrigeration systems, which cause high local emissions and have a poor CO2 balance, is no longer in keeping with the times. ECOOLTEC is the only manufacturer to offer a truly sustainable solution and we therefore expect a great deal of interest in our chillers from customers, body builders and service partners.
At our stand, we will be demonstrating that environmentally friendly transport refrigeration is already a reality today. Our compact yet powerful refrigeration machine relies exclusively on natural refrigerants and boasts an electric drive, which makes it particularly environmentally friendly and future-proof. In view of the EU-wide F-Gas Regulation and the associated bans or shortages of conventional refrigerants, the industry is facing an unavoidable switch to sustainable alternatives. We have already made this switch; all visitors to our stand will be able to see this for themselves.
At the last IAA, we presented the ECOOLTEC company and our product to the market for the first time. This year we are presenting two new flat evaporators, a new remote control and new generator and electric lorry attachment options. Numerous reference installations in Europe prove the successful use of our technology, and at the IAA we will also be showing examples of installations on customer vehicles in operation. Visitors will be particularly impressed by the low noise emissions and the flat design of our system.
