IAA News: What do you expect from the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024?
Guido Kutschera: The IAA Transportation is traditionally the leading European trade fair for the commercial vehicle industry. This year in Hanover, we are once again looking forward to an intensive exchange with long-standing, new and potential customers, partners and colleagues.
Why should customers definitely come to the DEKRA stand (12/C51)?
At the DEKRA stand in Hall 12, we present ourselves as the global partner for safety and sustainability. We have been on the road with our expert competence on behalf of safety for almost 100 years, ever since our foundation in 1925 with a clear focus on commercially used vehicles. Our stand motto "Technology changes - safety remains" makes it clear that one of our central concerns as an expert organisation is to constantly develop ourselves further and to keep our finger on the pulse in terms of technological expertise - in order to be able to offer our customers exactly the services they need in the current situation in the industry. In 2024, this means, among other things: Our focus will be on alternative drive systems for commercial vehicles.
What are the most important innovations that DEKRA is presenting?
The main exhibit at our stand is a hydrogen-powered lorry. The vehicle is a real eye-catcher, and it is the perfect opportunity for us to talk to trade visitors about the topic of alternative drive systems and to demonstrate our expertise - and not just in relation to the vehicle itself.
DEKRA is also the partner for the entire process when it comes to hydrogen infrastructure: from planning, implementation and installation to periodic testing. Added to this are our services relating to people, for example in the form of specific training courses and instructions. A comprehensive service package from a single source under the motto "Alternative drives - safety without alternatives."
